SIDELINED is a project of mine that combines my greatest passions: statistics, data science and sports analytics. Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), I analyzed over 1,700 ESPN articles and 10,000 player profiles to create an RShiny interactive app that exposes gender bias in NCAA basketball journalism.
